I can relate to so many things you say! My son's father treated me like garbage he would pick apart my body all the time. He was ruthless. I'm so happy I finally had enough and left him. I'm happier now than I have ever been and he is still miserable ! I wasted some of the best years of my life with him. I will never allow anyone in my life to treat me the way he did. Life is way too short to be miserable. 😊

I love your vulnerability in these last few videos I’ve watched. You are an absolute gem and strong woman to share the things you’ve shared. I heard somewhere that disregarding negative opinions people have about you is one thing, but we need to also disregard the positive opinions about you as well. They are just opinions and to be swayed either way gives the power to the opinion holder. It is so important that we truly love and value ourselves, regardless of anyone’s opinion of us. Wayne Dyer(I think 🤷🏼‍♀️) said something to the effect of “your opinion of me is none of my business” Love you ❤😊

I spend $1200 a month cash on weight loss drug so I can get my middle aged weight off. Zepbound . I need to get into the gym. I'm 47 I was in the military and being fat was not ok. In reality it's not. It's very unhealthy. And I need to get back to healthy. I wear a size 12. I need to see muscles. Not fat. i suffer with body image issues really bad and it'll never stop. Its like torture.

I am 51 years old and recently have lost a lot of weight, due to illness, and an illness that no one seems to understand. It is incredibly isolating and has changed every aspect of my life. However, I do not look unwell. What has stunned me, is the excitement that others have displayed in how I look, and the rush to congratulate me on how fabulous I am... I can honestly tell you that while sure it's nice to be complimented, none of these people were interested in the fact that I am unwell. How did it get to this, that how we look is so important, and that we rush to congratulate people, as though they are now better than they were before? Isn't kindness better? Isn't it better just to be a good and accepting person? I love beauty as much as the next person, but not more than decency, or kindness. Personally, I have become a bit resentful of the comments from others, so please everyone, love the skin you are in, because we are fabulous, just the way we are x

No wonder you're a good teacher : your passionate AND compassionate 🤗 As for accepting oneself, it thankfully comes with aging, we become wise and care less and less about what others think☺️🤞🏻And really the most important thing to realise is that "on ne peut pas plaire à tout le monde ! “, it's french for you can't please everybody. We should remember not to aim being loved by everyone. First it's impossible and second it's much better that way, it means that you're an interesting ands honest human being. In life what we love about someone is exactly the reason why someone else would dislike about that person. It applies to everything: human beings, food, art, literature, movies, makeup, etc.., etc... And it's a good thing, it means that you're different and you've got to offer the world something interesting. And to also remember that overtly critical people can never be satisfied: if you change something to please them, they would either say "actually you were better before", or say "it was about time! “ or say. “OK, now you've done that, you should tackle another pb I've noticed" That's their nature. Either they wish they could be as carefree and resent you for being what they never dared to be, to have. Or them pointing 👉🏻 the finger at others means that they don't have to stop and think about their life. As for the abusing kind of people, after years of witnessing some friends going through that ordeal and having the guts to unlock those virtual chains, the common point is that the bully is highly jealous and have a complex of inferiority. They can't bear their partner being more intelligent, better educated, more successful than them. What drew them to that person, what they found first attractive bc it made them feel accomplished to have someone of that caliber being in love with them. Once the poor girl/boy is hooked, they then proceed to slowly and surgically do everything they can to put that person down. And little by little they crush that confidence. It's the worst thing that can happen to that type of cruel people: having a confident and independent partner. And seeing that ex thriving in a new life without them. But since they usually have another "victim" under their radar (even usually at the same time that they're with their partner. Bc of course they're never faithful!) they can carry on destroying other people's lives, self-esteem, social connections with friends, family, colleagues.

The only way my eyeshadow done right for the first time is when my friend got me the spray fountain from Jerome Alexander and it stayed on all day and it was very hot . I dont know if you have used it. My skin is oily but if you teach classes I would love more info on them. Thanks ❤

The sense of entitlement people must have to declare loudly that another person doesn't PLEASE THEIR EYES. Women are not THINGS made to be commented on by the general public. Women are human beings. Other women are NOT your enemy, not your competition, not yours to break down their appearance. Keep your thoughts to yourself unless you are personally ASKED FOR YOUR OPINION.

Learning to love yourself and self confidence is definitely a learned skill. I am finally there but it took years to to get here. At 55 I am more confident than I was at 45. I love this video and the great impactful guidance.
